JOHANNESBURG (AP) — Paramedics in South Africa say a bus carrying military personnel has rolled down an embankment, killing 10 people and injuring 40.
ER24, a provider of emergency medical care, said Friday that the crash occurred in the Golden Gate reserve in Free State province.
ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring says in a statement that many people were thrown from the military bus when it overturned. He says paramedics found bodies strewn around the scene.
An investigation is underway.
