The Salt Lake Chamber has a new video streamed presentation on our website at www.saltlakechamber.org. The video was produced by Broadcast International to help show small businesses how the internet can be used to deliver a powerful video and audio presentation to their customers and clients. The Chamber’s video explains the benefits and value of Chamber membership.

The Quest for the Gift of Life Foundation announced that the Celebration of Life Donor Monument will be located in downtown Salt Lake City on the new Library Square east of the City and County Building. The monument memorializes organ donors as heroes and will help educate individuals about the importance of organ donation.

The Utah Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers has chosen John Hymel, Jacobsen Construction Company’s Safety Director, as Safety Professional of the Year. John has worked as a safety professional for 30 years including the last decade at Jacobsen.

A Trade Mission from Brazil is coming to Utah today and tomorrow. This is a great opportunity to meet with Brazilian business leaders who are interested in doing business with U.S. firms. The Trade Mission is sponsored by the State of Utah International Business Development Office with the cooperation of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Salt Lake Chamber.
