The Utah Chapter of American Society of Training and Development is sponsoring a Training Resources Vendor Fair on October 24th at the Salt Lake Community College Metro Center located at 115 South Main Street. The Fair starts at 10 a.m. and showcases products and services for all areas of Corporate training.
Big-D Fastrack, a division of Big-D Construction, was awarded the contract to build an addition to Dannon’s fermentation room at its West Jordan plant. Fastrack was also awarded a contract with Daily Foods, based in South Salt Lake.
A Trade Mission from Brazil is coming to Utah this Thursday and Friday October 17th and 18th. This is a great opportunity to meet with Brazilian business leaders who are interested in doing business with U.S. firms. The main sectors of the trade mission are: Processed Foods, Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Construction, Education and Training, Computer Industry, Medical/Hospital, Mining, Information Technology and Tourism/Entertainment. The Brazilian participants are seeking import, export, joint venture, representation opportunities, and agent or distributor agreements, as well as possible investors and businesses willing to set up their branch office in Brazil. The Trade Mission is sponsored by the State of Utah International Business Development Office with the cooperation of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Salt Lake Chamber.
