Echelon Biosciences was recently recognized as one of the winners of the Seventh Annual “Tibbett’s Award.” The Tibbett’s Award is given annually to those firms that demonstrate excellence in Small Business Innovation Research. The focus is on the economic impact of technological innovation. This is the second time Echelon has been recognized with this honor.
According to the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, the population of Utah reached 2,295,971 by July 1st, 2001. This is an increase of 2.2 percent or 49,418 residents. Two-thirds of the change was natural increase. Births hit an all-time record of 47,688. Inmigration was estimated at 14,166.
Cameron Construction announced the completion of its new website at www.cameronconst.com. The website is a resource for bidding information and contains a representative project portfolio.
Deer Valley Resort has spent over $4.5 million dollars in improvements over the Summer. Changes include the completion of the Royal Street Café restaurant in Silver Lake Lodge, improvements to chair lifts, and increased snowmaking ability.
