THIS IS MICHAEL DE GROOTE FROM THE SALT LAKE CHAMBER WITH YOUR METRO BUSINESS REPORT
On this day of commemoration, the Salt Lake Chamber joins with the rest of the community in remembering those who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. Among the victims were fathers, mothers, and children. Among the victims were citizens of many countries. Among the victims were innocent members of many faiths. There were acts of heroism that amazed and inspired us. There were acts of courage and compassion that we’ll never know about. We also remember the living. Those who lost love ones. Those who braved the fires to save others. Those who fight to protect our freedom. We mourn the passing of a more innocent time. We also resolve to continue to live our lives, to support our military, to protect free enterprise, and…to never forget.
