You aren't alone if you have been in a situation where you don't want to tell your partner the whole truth about something that you've done. There are many reasons people tell a lie in a relationship. It may be to spare your partners feelings or because you don't think your partner can handle the truth. It could be just to make yourself look good. Most of the time a lie comes because of your own weakness or from doing something wrong.
