Utah Medical Products of Midvale has chosen U.S. Bank to provide financial services. These services include a line of credit, treasury management, depository accounts, and merchant services.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area is holding their 14th Annual Golf Classic today at the Thanksgiving Point Golf Course. They also recently held a pie auction that raised $11,500 dollars.

The Christmas Box House held its annual Yard Sale on Saturday, August 17th. The Yard Sale was a fundraiser to benefit the children at the Christmas Box House.

The YWCA of Salt Lake City is holding a LeaderLuncheon on September 20th at the Little America. The keynote speaker is Harriet Lerner, an expert on the psychology of women and family relationships. For more information call 537-8609.

Here’s a Chamber History Fact: Utah’s only venture into professional football began with a meeting at the Chamber in 1945. The result was the Pacific Coast Football League granting a franchise for the Salt Lake Seagulls. The Seagulls only lasted for two seasons starting in 1946.
