LAS VEGAS (AP) — A woman was shot in the leg after an altercation at a gas station near the Las Vegas Strip.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2aD1gmf ) that Las Vegas police say the victim and two men had a verbal altercation Monday night at a gas station near the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

Lt. David Gordon says the men and the woman left the gas station in separate vehicles then the men pulled over, got out of the vehicle and fired shots at the woman's car, which was stopped at a traffic light.

The men then fled in their vehicle. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
