Here’s a Chamber History Fact: In 1952 the Salt Lake Chamber celebrated its 50th anniversary. In September of this year it celebrates its 100th anniversary with a gala and also the publication of a new book on the Chamber’s history.

The Salt Lake Chamber Military Affairs Committee invites you to attend a quarterly briefing featuring Brigadier General F.C. "Pink" Williams tomorrow, July 9th at 8 a.m. at the Chamber. General Williams is commander of the 419th Fighter Wing, U.S. Air Force Reserve, at Hill Air Force Base. As wing commander, he directs the deployment of resources, over 1,400 people, and a fleet of F-16 aircraft, to meet the task of preparing a fighting force capable of deploying worldwide. He also oversees a dynamic program of recruiting, equipping, and training for sustained combat operations in both the air-to-air and air-to-ground arenas. To register call the Chamber at 328-5080, or see us on the web at saltlakechamber.org.
