Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Blake Vanroosendaal has been named Controller for Big-D Construction. U.S. Bank has named David Hall and Rodney Hamilton as Branch Managers in the Salt Lake City metro district.

The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America will present the society’s Distinguished Service Award to Lighting Designer Jody Good. Jody is the Principal Lighting and Theater Designer for Salt Lake based Spectrum Bennion

Right Management Consultants, with a regional office in Salt Lake, was recently recognized by Business Week as one of the “Top 100 Hot Growth Companies.”

Fortune Small Business magazine recently ranked ClearOne Communications number 21 on its annual list of “America’s 100 Fastest-Growing Small Companies.” This is the second consecutive year that ClearOne earned a top 25 ranking.

Southwest Airlines has retired its plastic boarding cards in favor of a new automated boarding pass. Southwest has used the colorful plastic boarding cards for 30 years.
