Wells Fargo & Company has announced that its small business Website at www.wellsfargo.com/biz was recently recognized for its features and products. Speer and Associates, a financial services consulting firm, named the website as the top small business banking site in the Western Hemisphere.
Wells Fargo has also established the “Elizabeth Smart Fund” for donations to help the Smart family.
According to the Department of Community and Economic Development, a major Korean conglomerate, Samyang Corporation, has set up a U.S. Pharmaceutical research and development operation in Sandy, Utah. Samyang Research is located at 9520 South State Street in Sandy.
Opulence Catering and Events is now the exclusive caterer for Canterbury Reception Center in Bountiful. Opulence owners, Julie and Jeff Palmer, also operate Have Party…Will Travel and were recently honored with the Chamber's Giant Step Award for Entrepreneurial Success
Here’s a Chamber History Fact: The first banquet the Chamber ever held was in November of 1902. On the menu was Utah Black Bass, Broiled Teal Duck on toast, and Cold Asparagus.
