The Salt Shakers, the Chamber's goodwill ambassadors, were featured on national television recently. The Salt Shakers were in New York on a goodwill trip when CBS Morning News interviewed them about Salt Lake City and the Olympics.

U.S. Translation Company was recently hired by The National Hemophilia Foundation to translate their newsletters into Spanish. They also translated a directory and handbook into Spanish for the University of Utah.

Here’s a Chamber History Fact: The Chamber was called the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce from 1967 until last September when after an extensive rebranding process it shortened its name to Salt Lake Chamber.
