This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

Is there any spot on Earth more beautiful than Bryce Canyon? Well, I'm sure there could be lots of different nominations for the classification of most beautiful. But there are tens of thousands of people each year who travel from all over the world to bask in the splendor of Bryce.

There is a bed and breakfast adjacent to Bryce that provides a bit of paradise as people experience the unsurpassed beauty of this spectacular color country. The Stone Canyon Inn offers a bed and breakfast that is complementary to the inspirational beauty of Bryce Canyon. Dixie Burbidge and her family have explored the area for years. They have biked the many paths and backpacked the canyons. She decided that she wanted the opportunity to live and work in the area that she loved so very much. So she planned, designed and built Stone Canyon Inn.

The setting is magnificent. You can sit on the deck and watch the sun come up over Powell Point, and in the evening watch it sink over Sinking Ship Point. From Powell Point you can actually see into four states on a clear day. It's a very peaceful place and is perfect for guests that wish nothing but a peaceful relaxing vacation. Yet, for those who wish to embrace and explore the land, Dixie can arrange for guided services and direct you to all levels of outdoor adventure. She told me that she will satisfy the "agile to the fragile." Activities that are available include hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVs, fly-fishing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Conde Nast Traveler magazine rated the Stone Canyon Inn as one of the top 10 places in the United States for getting lost in the outdoors.

Located just half a mile off Bryce Way near Tropic, Utah, the inn is a gorgeous wood and beautiful stone building that blends with its natural surroundings. Each of the five elegant and charming rooms includes Jacuzzi baths, TV & VCR, phone and of course, a gourmet breakfast.

Dixie Burbidge is fortunate to own and operate the wonderful Stone Canyon Inn.
