The Chamber’s Downtown Committee has developed principles for downtown development. Guideline four is: “The downtown area has important legacies that need to be preserved and promoted. Working with other groups, the Salt Lake Chamber will promote the establishment of Olympic landmarks where visitors can revisit major aspects of the Games. The Chamber will support other efforts such as a central calendar of downtown events that will work to make the downtown area an important destination for visitors throughout the region.”
Talon Printing recently installed a Miller TP-74 sheet-fed offset press, which is a high-quality press suited for larger two-color and smaller four-color projects. This brings Talon’s total of printing presses to five.
Okland Construction was recently chosen by BYU to build its new Joseph F. Smith building—a new 290,000 square-foot facility that will house BYU’s two largest colleges. The building design is by FFKR Architecture.
Bud Bailey Construction was recently selected to renovate a Bed Bath & Beyond located in Las Vegas.
