Big-D Construction has received the Contractor of the Year Award from Sandy City for its work on the AT&T Broadband building.

The new Columbus Library, designed by Cooper Roberts Simonsen Architects, has opened its doors in the newly renovated South Salt Lake Columbus Center.

Union Point General Contractors recently turned over the new Spring Lake Elementary Building to Nebo School District in Utah County. The 88,000 square foot, $7.4 million dollar facility took just over one year to build.

Bud Bailey Construction announced the completion of the Irwin Union Bank renovation in Salt Lake City.

R&O Construction has begun the construction of a new Safeway in Broomfield, Colorado. The 58,400 square foot store will be finished in just 140 days.

The Leverich Group, a Salt Lake based CPA and management consulting firm, on behalf of its clients and other Utah contractors, recently donated $1800 to the Utah Food Bank—enough to supply food for 3,600 meals.

Here’s a Chamber History Fact: One of the first things the Chamber did when it was organized in 1902 was to petition the U.S. Congress for a mint in Salt Lake City.
