Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Teri Austin has joined The Summit Group Communications as an Advertising Account Coordinator, and Stormy Corn joined The Summit Group as a Public Relations Account Coordinator. Candice Isaacson is a Sales Manager at the Gathering Place at Gardner Village.

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah customers saved an average of $11 dollars per prescription through the ScriptSave prescription discount program in 2001. This is a total of $4.6 million dollars in savings.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has announced plans to consolidate four Weber County offices into two locations. Two South Ogden offices will combine at 6033 South Fashion Point Drive. Two Layton offices will combine at 1388 Legend Hills Drive.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: According to The Enterprise, a survey by the Downtown Alliance showed 22 percent of downtown businesses had a decrease in business during the Games.

Upon unanimous vote of the Salt Lake Chamber’s Board of Governors, Mitt Romney has been chosen as A Giant In Our City. This award is Salt Lake’s highest honor. Mitt will be honored at a banquet on April 24th. Speakers include SLOC’s Chief Operating Officer Fraser Bullock and Governor Mike Leavitt.
