BOSTON (AP) — The third suspect in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old Boston high school student has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges.
Jaden Waiters was held without bail at his arraignment Tuesday.
The 20-year-old Waiters is charged in connection with the June 8 shooting death of Raekwon Brown, a student at Jeremiah Burke High School. Reached by phone, Waiters' lawyer said he had no comment on the case.
Two other teenagers and a 67-year-old woman were injured in the daytime shooting.
Students said they heard six or seven shots just after a fire alarm went off inside the school. Police say the shooting and alarm appear to be unconnected.
Two other suspects are being held without bail after pleading not guilty. The shooting remains under investigation.
