OLIVER STONE has hinted he's planning a Playboy musical about the life of publishing tycoon HUGH HEFNER.
The NATURAL BORN KILLERS director admits he's had enough of tough dramas, political sagas and harrowing epics and now he'd like to try his hand at a sexy song-and-dance extravaganza.
Stone came close to taking charge of MADONNA's EVITA movie, but lost the chance of directing that project to ALAN PARKER.
He says, "I wish I could have made it. (I came) so close. Maybe I should do a musical... Maybe Hugh Hefner, the Playboy musical." (KL/WNVSMS/ZJS)
