The Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund is holding an orientation on how small business entrepreneurs, especially those who are socially or economically disadvantaged, can obtain small business loans of up to $10,000. The orientation is Wednesday, January 16th, at 3 p.m. Call 269-8408 to register.

According to Spencer Eccles at the Wells Fargo Economic Forecast for 2002, the Real Gross Domestic Product in 2002 is expected to increase 1/4 to 1 percent. Implied in this modest annual-average gain are second-half quarterly increases reaching 3 to 4 percent.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: The Olympic Caldron is 117 feet long and weighs 40,000 pounds. The Caldron will burn Questar natural gas at up to 8,000,000 BTU per hour with a 24-foot flame.
