IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Officials say about 52,000 customers in southeast Idaho were without power for several hours. Rocky Mountain Power officials say the outage happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday and was affecting customers in Idaho Falls and surrounding areas. Officials posted on their website that power had been brought back within a few hours.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Fire crews are fighting a fast-spreading wildfire in southwest Idaho that destroyed two structures as it quickly grew to more than 5 square miles in size Tuesday.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A financial software company in Connecticut is suing an Idaho-based software company after the Idaho company hired two of the Connecticut company's former employees. The lawsuit, brought by SS&C Technologies Inc. against Clearwater Analytics, focuses on some common and often contested areas of business law: What information departing employees may take with them to the next job, and who they may contact after leaving.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho delegates to the Republican National Convention declined to sign a petition to have Texas Sen. Ted Cruz nominated as the GOP's presidential candidate. Instead, Idaho GOP Chairman Steve Yates said in a telephone interview Tuesday that the state's Cruz leadership team had promised that Idaho delegates would not participate in any anti-Donald Trump demonstrations or walkouts during the nominating process.
