Prevent Blindness Utah received the Award of Excellence from the National Society to Prevent Blindness for its Driver’s Education Program called “20/20 Save Our Sight.”

Tooele Sandblasting is setting up an indoor sandblasting facility at the Utah Industrial Depot.

R&R Partners, on behalf of the Utah Transit Authority, has received top awards in the American Public Transportation Association’s annual AdWheel Awards competition.

R&O Construction Company has been awarded the “Outstanding Design Build Project—Best of 2001” award by Intermountain Contractor magazine for R&O’s work on the Elizabeth Dee Shaw Stewart Stadium Sky Suites and Press Box facility at Weber State University.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: Over 300 trained volunteers are ready to help run the Chamber’s hospitality center, the Century Club. The volunteers come from all sizes and types of businesses and will each work four 4-hour shifts during the Games.

The Chamber’s Small Business Roundtable is a way to get together with other business owners and learn how to meet the challenges small business owners face.
