R&O Construction is building a Smith’s Conoco Fuel Center at the Smith’s Food & Drug at 4275 Harrison Boulevard in Ogden. The fuel center will be completed mid-January.
Salt Lake Community College has purchased an airplane for use in hands-on training in the flight technology department. By summer, the department should have 12 single-engine airplanes.
The Film Society is a new organization created under the direction of Wayne Lee in preparation for the 2002 Salt Lake City Film Festival to be held in August of 2002. In January, they will begin a new series at Trolley Square called "Film Scene in Utah" that focuses on local filmmakers.
