For the first time in the restaurant’s history, Metropolitan will now be open on Monday evenings for dinner. The new Monday service, from 5:30 to 10 p.m. will be called “Metro Mondays” and feature special fare.

Razor, a Salt Lake advertising agency, has produced radio spots for the Salt Lake Community College. The humorous spots dramatize the need for quality education.

MassMutual, represented in Utah by Intermountain Financial Group, has introduced three new survivorship universal life insurance products to its portfolio. The new policies are permanent life insurance policies that cover two people under one policy and pay an income-tax-free death benefit at the second death.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: During the Games, Main Street will be closed from South Temple to 500 South. East/west travel through the intersections will remain open.

Many businesses are now facing the challenges caused by the economic slowdown and the terrorist attacks. The next “Meeting the Challenge Seminar Series” is on coping with disaster in a business. Deloitte and Touche will talk about how the attacks affected their operations in New York and the lessons they learned. This seminar is this Friday, December 7th at 8 a.m. at the Chamber.
