This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Park City will soon have a new hotel, and it will carry a fitting name. It will be the Hotel Park City, and the suites are nestled along the Park City Golf Course. This boutique condominium resort is the most significant new development in the luxury vacation home real estate market.
Currently under construction, the hotel’s main building will be completed next fall. It will include 54 suites, all with private views of the golf course and Park City Ski Area.
The Hotel Park City will be something different from typical hotels. I’ve heard from folks in charge of the operation that they are building it to be a world-class, whole ownership condominium hotel inspired by the grand old national park lodges such as those at Yosemite and Yellowstone. Like those grand lodges, the Hotel Park City will feature stone fireplaces, massive beams and historic period woodwork.
The hotel’s fully furnished condominium suites will include large, sunny living areas, fireplaces, private decks and high ceilings. They’ll also have travertine and marble bathrooms, jetted tubs, European triple-headed showers and state-of-the-art entertainment equipment.
The hotel will cater to guests and owners alike, which means that at the Hotel Park City, you can stay a night or own one of its condominiums. Either way, you’ll get room service, fine dining in the hotel’s gourmet restaurant and access to its fitness facility, pool and hot tub. The hotel will also feature a destination spa with a whirlpool, steam room, sauna and private treatment rooms.
Outside, there’s Park City’s famous powder; golfing on the adjacent 18-hole course or shopping Park City’s historic Main Street. And the hotel’s shuttle will provide the way.
In anticipation of the hotel’s opening, some guests have already reserved suites in the main building. But an additional phase of executive-style suites of two- and three-bedroom cottages with their own private decks and hot tubs is planned for completion six months after the hotel’s grand opening. A glimpse of how the hotel will look can be seen at www.hotelparkcity.com.
As if there weren’t enough reasons to visit Utah’s favorite high-mountain resort town, well, here’s just one more—the soon-to-be-ready Hotel Park City.
