This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Nestled in the mountains of Wasatch County is a real estate opportunity some are calling "Utah's new little Tahoe." I recently spoke with Peter Cooke, CEO of PSC Development and one of the principals of two new developments located on the Jordanelle Reservoir, Deer Mountain and Fox Bay Condominiums.
Peter explained to me his vision of these two new projects in this developing resort area comparing it to many western resort favorites like Jackson Hole, Vail, Sun Valley, and Lake Tahoe. With all the amenities of the Jordanelle Reservoir including water skiing, wakeboarding, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking and golf coupled with the close proximity of Deer Valley, Park City, and the Canyons Ski Resorts I was amazed at the many opportunities available to the recreation enthusiast. I was also reminded that out-of-state buyers or vacationers can reach these sites from the airport in 45 minutes without coming to a single stop light.
The Deer Mountain project, a new master planned community on the northeastern banks of the Jordanelle Reservoir offers something for everyone. This 430-acre development has everything from the Todd Hollow Apartments and Keetley Townhomes to the Ross Creek single family and Deer Mountain estate lots. One of the goals PSC Development set out to accomplish at Deer Mountain was to develop a community that had something for everyone. With lots starting at $86,000 and peaking out at $450,000 and townhomes and single family homes in the $200,000 range, Deer Mountain promises to be a terrific long-term investment.
Fox Bay Condominiums, another PSC Development, located on the western shores of the Jordanelle, offers two bedroom, two bathroom condominiums. Through a partnership with Wasatch County and United Park City Mines, PSC Development has created a terrific value for its buyers. Starting at $122,000 and quickly reaching a cap of $132,000, these condos are incredibly priced! With amenities including a swimming pool, hot tub, sports court, fitness center, children's playground, and underground parking the available units promise to be gone in a hurry.
Both projects, built by sister company Evergreene Construction, still have some incredible units available. The only challenge is which one of PSC Development's Jordanelle lakeside communities to choose.
