1. Grown man wears full Michael Jordan uniform at pickup game

We all know wearing team gear — jerseys, hats, shorts, shoes, etc. — can look cool when worn in moderation. For example, a nice Air Jordan hat to match your Air Jordan XI lows.

But when you decide to wear all the gear in a pickup game, you risk getting roasted.

One man decided to wear the Michael Jordan full Chicago Bulls uniform, a la 1996 NBA Finals, to a pickup game.

NBC Sports decided to give the moment the background music it deserves: A bit of “Roundball Rock,” aka the NBA on NBC theme, by John Tesh. Since the NBA on NBC was the broadcast home of Jordan’s greatest moments, it’s a fitting tribute. We even get to hear former NBC broadcaster Marv Albert give one of his most famous Jordan moments: MJ's mid-air hand switch layup against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1991 NBA Finals.

Hearing that music brings back so many memories. NBA on NBC forever!

2. Kid is floored to meet Steph Curry

The Golden State Warriors' Steph Curry is one of the NBA's brightest, friendliest stars. Steph continued to stay close to his fans on Tuesday when he surprise some of his youngest fans at a Warriors basketball camp.

In the video, Steph knocks on the doors of some of the camp attendees' rooms. For one kid, he's literally floored when he sees who is on the other side of the door.

How great is that? The expression on those kids' faces is priceless.

Nicely done, Steph.

3. Bald eagle is a true Dodger fan, leaves game early

Nothing says America quite like a bald eagle soaring in the sky. It’s a symbol of freedom and American pride.

But one bald eagle decided he’d rather spend the Fourth of July tailgating at the Dodger Stadium parking lot than taking orders from his handler.

Before Monday’s Dodgers vs. Baltimore Orioles game, Chinook the bald eagle was to fly down from atop the stadium and fly to his handler, inspiring fans while doing so.

Chinook realized it’s Independence Day, decided to seek freedom from his handler and flew past him and out to the parking lot.

Chinook was found by the zoo van in the parking lot and is back at the Los Angeles Zoo.

Chinook is a symbol of America and a symbol of Angeleno Dodger fandom as he, like many L.A. fans, left the game early.
