According to a study by Zions Bank, economic growth in Utah has continued at a solid pace during 2001. Even as Utah’s growth pace has slowed, it remains among the nation’s strongest state economies.

According to a study by Wells Fargo, the Wasatch Front cost of living declined for the first time in six months in July. Lower prices for transportation and clothing created the .4 percent decrease.

Over the last two years, Thanksgiving Point Institute has accumulated an additional 750 acres around its established property. The property will be utilized as part of Thanksgiving Point’s resort development plans. Those plans include a shopping mall, office space, condominiums, restaurants, hotels, more museums, and a performing arts center.

Mountain America Credit Union has entered an alliance with two leading ATM Networks, CO-OP and Access Cash International. This allows Mountain America to offer more than 11,000 ATM locations without a surcharge.
