Grubb & Ellis | Utah Realty announced the opening of a Utah County office in Orem.

SaharaHome is finishing construction on the first home in Lime Canyon Estates in Midway. The home will be part of the Park City Parade of Homes, which runs from the end of August through early September.

Layton Construction broke ground on a new terminal to be added to the Boise Airport. Layton is the general contractor for the Boise Airport expansion having submitted a $47.3 million bid. The new terminal will be 361,000 square feet.

R&O Construction is building several Safeway Fuel Centers for Safeway, Incorporated. Each project averages 40,000 square feet and takes three months to complete.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: This week we are talking about 5 of the 10 Olympic Sports Venues. The “E” Center in West Valley City will be the Ice Hockey Arena during the Games. The arena will hold 10,000 people and is 10 miles from the Olympic Village.

Every year the Chamber has an Annual Meeting. For the last few years the Chamber has made these luncheons fun events with themes. This year’s Annual Meeting is September 18th at 11:30 a.m. at the Salt Lake Marriott Downtown. This year’s theme is based on one of the most popular movies of all time.
