Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Stantec Consulting promoted James Olson to Regional Leader for the Environmental Market Segment. Irwin Union Bank named Benjamin Lightner as Senior Relationship Manager of Private Banking and Keith Thompson as Senior Relationship Manager of Commercial Lending. ArosNet promoted Audrey Jones to Sales Manager and Casen Payne to System Administrator. Kitchell Contractors hired Terry Nelson as Project Manager and Jason Empey as Project Superintendent. Christopherson Travel Group promoted Brent Carter to Director of Operations and John Thomson to Director of Human Resources.

Montgomery Watson has completed its merger with Harza Engineering Company. The newly merged international consulting firms will be renamed MWH Global, Inc.

The Carriage Court Restaurant at the Inn at Temple Square has been closed for major remodeling. The new restaurant will open in September as a completely new restaurant called Passages.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: This week we are talking about 5 of the 10 Olympic Sports Venues. The Delta Center will become The Skating Arena at Salt Lake City. Figure skating and short track speed skating will be held in the 20,000 seat capacity arena.
