Altius Health Plans has signed a seven-year, $100 million agreement with The TriZetto® Group. The partnership gives Altius members the benefits of TriZetto’s customer-friendly information technology services.

With the acquisition of a site for the Living Planet Aquarium, a Capital Campaign has been launched to raise the $69 million needed to finish the project. The Living Planet Aquarium will open by Labor Day 2005.

Zions Bancorporation reported a second-quarter income of $73.6 million. This is a 23 1/2 percent increase over last year.

U.S. Bank has awarded more than $50,000 in grants to 13 Utah nonprofits during the second-quarter of 2001. The grants were for programs for affordable housing, artistic and cultural enrichment, and elementary school education.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: This week we are talking about 5 of the 10 Olympic Sports Venues. The Alpine Area at Snowbasin near Ogden will host six events with the men’s and women’s downhill, combined downhill, and super G. The downhill course is rated among the world’s top three courses. Its vertical drop of 2,770 feet generates speeds up to 90 miles per hour.
