Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield recently received the "Advancing the Status of Women Award" from Soroptimist International of Salt Lake. The company was recognized for its efforts to promote women and support them on the job with various benefits.

OnePipeline, Inc., an automated loan origination technology company, has become a partner with MorningstarAdvisor.com, a website for financial advisors. OnePipeline's Automated Compliance System, an online mortgage loan origination service, will be available to financial advisors at the site.

DriverTech announced the release of the DT-2000 Fleet Manager Automatic Vehicle Locator. The product helps commercial and municipal fleets with 2-way digital messaging, digital dispatching, and in-vehicle map navigation.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: The Salt Lake Organizing Committee will receive about $443 million dollars in revenue from world wide broadcast rights fees, including $327 million dollars from NBC for broadcast rights in the United States. The other primary revenue sources include ticket sales, sponsorships, and licensing.
