Several Salt Lake businesses report personnel changes. Sear-Brown, an engineering/architecture/ planning/construction firm, has appointed Steve Meyer branch manager of its Salt Lake City branch. Wilkinson Ferrari & Company, a public relations firm, welcomes Vicki Varela as a partner and has changed the firm’s name to Wilkinson Ferrari & Verela. J. Scott Iverson is the new manager of the Utah Media Center. Equity Oil adds David P. Donegan as vice-president of corporate development.

The National Association of Real Estate Editors is hosting their 35th Annual Real Estate Journalism Conference this week in Salt Lake City.

According to The Enterprise, Express Personnel Services, a full service staffing company, is looking to expand its operations in Utah. With two Utah franchises in Midvale and St. George, Express Personnel Services are currently looking for independent entrepreneurs to open new franchises.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: The primary revenue sources for the Olympic games are sponsorhips, worldwide broadcast rights fees, ticket sales, licensed merchandise, and liquidation of post-Games assets.
