The Utah Media Center, a working press facility for non-accredited press during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games, will be located at the Expo Mart at 2300 West 200 South in Salt Lake City. The Utah Travel Council will oversee the Utah Media Center program. Non-accredited media are those reporters who come for the Olympics, but are not given special access to events or the Olympic Main Media Center located at the Salt Palace.

The Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund is holding an orientation on how small business entrepreneurs, especially those who are socially or economically disadvantaged, can obtain small business loans of up to $10,000. The orientation is tomorrow, June 5th, at 9:30 a.m. Call 269-8408 to register.

Here’s an Olympic business fact: The Salt Lake Organizing Committee has entered into letters of agreement with 58 licensees. Together, those licensees will pay a guaranteed minimum royalty total of $22 million dollars.
