NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $4.45 to $9.70 a bale higher Thursday. The avagere for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 153 cents to 63.41 cents per pound Thursday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
