OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Jeremy Montalbano and Hunter Hope both hit homers in the fourth inning to help Tulane beat Utah 4-1 in an elimination game of the NCAA tournament's Oxford Regional on Sunday.

Tulane (41-20) advances to face Boston College in the region championship. The Green Wave would have to beat the Eagles twice — once Sunday night and again on Monday — to claim the title because of the tournament's double-elimination format.

Freshman Ross Massey threw eight impressive innings for Tulane, giving up just one run on five hits while striking out four. His performance helped the Green Wave save their bullpen for the championship game against Boston College.

Stephen Alemais and Hunter Williams added two hits apiece for Tulane.

Utah (26-29) won its first game of the regional against top-seeded Ole Miss, but lost its next two games.
