STATELINE, Nev. (AP) — A 31-year-old man Nevada man has been arrested in an alleged road rage incident near Lake Tahoe after he allegedly pointed a gun at another motorist on the Kingsbury Grade.
Douglas County sheriff's officials said Thursday that Jared Kaiser of Stateline was arrested for suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, driving under the influence, reckless driving and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
The sheriff's office said both Kaiser and the other unidentified driver called 911 to complain about the other's aggressive and possibly intoxicated driving as they traveled down State Route 207 the night of May 30.
Deputies said one driver allegedly pointed a gun at the other before the two separated. The officers eventually stopped the cars separately and arrested Kaiser after they say they found a weapon belonging to him.
