NEW YORK (AP) — Saratoga Dreamer took charge midway on the turn and rolled to a 2 1/2-length victory Thursday in the $80,000 allowance feature on the turf at Belmont Park.
It was the season debut for the 4-year-old chestnut colt who earned his fourth win in eight starts for trainer Christophe Clement.
Joel Rosario was aboard for the seven furlongs in 1:20.12 over the firm course.
Saratoga Dreamer paid $13, $7.20 and $5.50. Changewilldoyagood rallied from fifth to get second, returning $5.90 and $4.20. Zandar paid $6.40 to show.
