HOUSTON (AP) — Flooding in Texas has taken six lives over the holiday weekend. Two bodies were found along flooded streams on Sunday. Authorities say one was a woman who died when the car she was riding in was swept from the street by a flooded creek early Sunday in Kendall County. The driver made it to shore and another passenger was rescued from a tree.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Tropical Depression Bonnie is expected to move along the South Carolina coast Monday and the North Carolina coast on Tuesday and Wednesday. Forecasters expect the storm to dump up to 6 inches of rain across east-central Georgia, central and eastern South Carolina, and eastern North Carolina. The National Weather Service says parts of southern South Carolina already have gotten up to 8 inches of rain. On Sunday, part of Interstate 95 was closed in Jasper County, South Carolina because of high water.

NEW YORK (AP) — There are massive check-in delays at JFK Airport's Terminal 7 because of a computer outage. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says a server providing Internet service had problems at about 4 p.m. Sunday, which required manual check-in. And at one point Sunday night, more than 1,000 passengers were waiting in line to get checked in.

NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy has been badly injured in a shark attack in Florida. Neptune Beach police tell CBS News that the boy and his stepfather were swimming in chest-deep water Sunday afternoon when the shark attacked. Police say the boy has an 8-inch bite behind his right knee and top of his calf, but the injuries didn't appear to have been life-threatening.

TALKEETNA, Alaska (AP) — Crews are waiting for better weather to retrieve the body of a mountaineer who fell an estimated 1,500 feet on Denali Mountain. The National Park Service says 45-year-old Pavel Michut of the Czech Republic was skiing Messner Couloir (kool-WAH') when he fell Saturday. The body will be flown by helicopter to the Alaska State Medical Examiner.
