PARIS (AP) — The Tour de Belgique cycling race says it has canceled its fourth stage following a serious crash.
The BELGA news agency said Saturday that the incident happened when two motorcycles provoked the fall of 17 riders, five of whom were later hospitalized.
The Lotto-Soudal cycling team said in a message posted to Twitter that Belgian rider Stig Broeckx was among those injured and would be transferred to a hospital in the German border city of Aachen for tests.
