OREM — Utah Valley’s Konner Frey is on the move … again.
The 6-foot-6 wing who averaged 14.1 points and a team-high 7.1 rebounds per game announced Wednesday that he was transferring to Montana State for the final year of his collegiate eligibility.

Frey, a Viewmont High alum, was a two-year starter with the Vikings and former all-state basketball player who signed with Northwest College after high school. He transferred to Utah State before his sophomore season, then moved on to Utah Valley as a junior, where ehe earned all-Western Athletic Conference newcomer honors this past season.
But Utah Valley coach Mark Pope added a slough of new transfers in his first full offseason on the job in Orem, including former Lone Peak and Salt Lake Community College standout Conner Toolson and Finnish post Joonas Tahvanainen.
The new blood led to potentially limited minutes for Frey, and the junior who worked out with BYU and Milwaukee star Jabari Parker this offseason has opted for a fourth school in four seasons.
