HUNTSVILLE, Utah (AP) — Authorities in Weber County have detained a man suspected of killing his wife.
Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay says deputies were dispatched to a condo at Lakeside Village in Huntsville Sunday around 8:40 a.m.
They were responding to a call about a man who had possibly hurt or killed his wife.
According to Findlay, deputies could not make contact with anyone in the condo so SWAT officers were called in.
The SWAT team entered at about noon and found the body of a woman.
They subsequently found her 60-year-old husband and took him into custody.
Findlay says he is considered a suspect.
However, investigators are still processing the scene.
Neither the victim nor the suspect's name will be released pending family notification.
