Rocker BONNIE RAITT was forced to adopt a healthier lifestyle after years of touring and hard partying began to take their toll.

The SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT singer now buys organic foods, exercises regularly and leads an eco-friendly lifestyle.

She explains, "I don't mind dirt (on vegetables), I don't like pesticides. I'm pretty tree-huggy.

"The last 20 years have been more of in the daytime riding my bike, eating organic and we run our buses and trucks on biodiesel fuel.

"I had the polluting part of my lifestyle for the first 20 years of my life in rock and roll!" (SS/WNVFERG/SH)
