TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a Tucson man has been arrested in last week's shooting on the University of Arizona campus.
University police say 29-year-old Christopher Eugene was taken into custody Monday.
He's being held in the Pima County Jail on suspicion of two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one felony count of aggravated robbery.
UofA police say the shooting occurred early Wednesday. Officers found shell casings and small amount of blood but no victim or suspect.
A Tucson hospital later reported the 23-year-old victim sought help for a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
The man told police he got off a streetcar when three men started following him and one fired shots. His name hasn't been released.
Police say neither Eugene nor the victim are UofA students.
