INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Carly Fiorina is singing Ted Cruz's praises and joining him as a potential running mate. A day after getting dusted in five primaries by Donald Trump, Cruz selected the former technology executive in the event he wins the nomination. That would have to happen at the Republican convention. Trump has 80 percent of the number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump has used a prepared speech on foreign policy to assert that the U.S. must "shake the rust off" its foreign policy and put "America first." The address, given at a Washington hotel, criticized the Obama and Bush administrations. Criticism of the speech has been bipartisan. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, a former rival, said

CHICAGO (AP) — A judge says there's nothing "more stunning than to have the words 'serial child molester' and 'speaker of the House' in the same sentence." PIKETON, Ohio (AP) — Ohio's attorney general says Friday's killing of eight people from one family was a "cold-blooded, calculated massacre." Mike DeWine and other officials visited the four crime scenes again on Wednesday. Seven adults and a 16-year-old boy were found dead near Piketon. A coroner says the victims were shot multiple times.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Los Angeles police are investigating whether a newly identified young woman who was found stabbed 150 times in 1969 is connected to the Manson family killings. A detective says investigators have interviewed Charles Manson about the woman and are now trying to track down a man known as either "John," or its French pronunciation. Though he says detectives haven't been able to find any concrete link to the Manson family killings, they can't rule it out either.
