PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — It's an extraordinary move. Republican presidential candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich are teaming up to deny front-runner Donald Trump as many additional delegates to the convention as possible. The Kasich campaign says it'll give Cruz "a clear path" in the Indiana primary, and in turn, the Cruz campaign says it'll "clear the path" for Kasich in Oregon and New Mexico. Trump is expected to add to his already overwhelming delegate lead after voting in five Northeastern states on Tuesday.
AERZEN, Germany (AP) — President Barack Obama is sending an additional 250 military personnel to Syria to help local forces fighting the Islamic State group. There already are 50 U.S. special forces in the country.

Today's meeting in Hannover, Germany, comes on the final day of Obama's two-day visit to push for the conclusion of negotiations on a U.S.-Europe trade deal. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron, French President Francois Hollande and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi are joining Obama.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration is expected to soon release at least part of a secret chapter in the congressional inquiry into the 9/11 terror attacks. Former U.S. Senator Bob Graham, who was co-chairman of the bipartisan panel, says the documents point to a Saudi connection to the 9/11 attackers. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were citizens Saudi Arabian citizens. The Saudi government says it has been "wrongfully and morbidly accused of complicity" in the attacks.
MEXICO CITY (AP) — Searchers have recovered four more bodies from a petrochemical plant wrecked by a huge explosion on Mexico's Gulf coast. That raises the death toll to 32. Petroleos Mexicanos says that on Sunday, rescuers with dogs reached some of the area's most affected by Wednesday's blast and had located more bodies. It says all the workers in the plant that day have now been found.
