SALT LAKE CITY — The Jazz season came to an end Wednesday, and they cleaned out their lockers with final media availability Thursday as 16 teams in the NBA were getting ready for the playoffs.
The players, coaches and front-office staff offered some pretty revealing thoughts. Click the videos above to listen to what they had to say.
Among other things, Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey and head coach Quin Snyder were asked what the most fair criticism of the team has been. The duo were unanimous in their agreement: Utah needs to get better with its ball security.
Lindsey added some other criticisms he’s received of how he’s handled the Jazz this season are also fair.
Another side note: it’s an Olympic year, meaning Dante Exum and Joe Ingles (Australia); Rudy Gobert (France); and Raul Neto (Brazil) will almost assuredly represent their country this summer in Rio de Janeiro. Gordon Hayward could also receive a call-up from USA basketball.
But is that a good thing for the Jazz players?
