ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Donald Trump is blasting a "corrupt" election system for complicating his path to the Republican presidential nomination. Trump told supporters gathered in a frigid airport hangar in Rochester, New York, that "it's not right" that the person who wins the most votes might not be the nominee. While Trump has won more states than any of his Republican rivals, it's possible that he won't secure the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination before the summer convention.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Hillary Clinton has picked up another endorsement in Maryland. The Democratic presidential front-runner has won the support of Rep. Elijah Cummings, who had remained neutral for months because of his role as the top Democrat on the House Committee overseeing the Benghazi investigation. Clinton has now been endorsed by every member of the Maryland congressional delegation. Polls show her with a double-digit lead in the state, which votes on April 26.

NEW YORK (AP) — Bernie Sanders has taken aim at Hillary Clinton at a rally in New York City. He told supporters at Coney Island that he's listening to their voices instead of "hustling money" on Wall Street and from billionaires. Standing in front of the Thunderbolt roller coaster, Sanders also reminisced about visiting the amusement park as a child. The rally concludes a three-day, seven-stop swing through his hometown.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — New Orleans' police chief says investigators don't have any evidence that former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith and the man accused of killing him knew each other, or that Smith was targeted. Superintendent Michael Harrison says that so far, it appears just to be an accident turned violent. He says Hayes shot Smith during an argument after Hayes' Hummer rear-ended Smith's Mercedes last night. Smith's wife was shot once in the leg.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Attorneys for the man convicted of killing Michael Jordan's father in North Carolina and dumping his body in South Carolina say they have new evidence to bolster their request for a new trial. The Charlotte Observer reports that court documents claim misleading testimony and misconduct by the prosecutor and jury helped wrongfully convict Daniel Green of murder. Green and his friend Larry Demery were convicted 20 years ago of killing James Jordan in 1993. Both were sentenced to life in prison.
