Greek champion Olympiakos beats host Panetolikos 5-2

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Olympiakos continued its romp toward lifting its 43rd league title by beating host Panetolikos 5-2 Sunday.

Five players scored for the Greek champion: Costas Fortounis in the 7th minute, Manuel de la Costa (30th), Seba (57th), Alan Pulido (69th) and Felipe Pardo (86th).

Panetolikos scored two late consolation goals through Amr Warda (88th) and Leandro Kappel (90th).

With one round left to play, Olympiakos stayed 25 points ahead of second-place AEK, a 2-0 winner over Panionios.

Also, PAOK beat Levadiakos 2-0, Giannena defeated Platanias by the same score and Atromitos won 4-2 at last-place Kalloni.

Iraklis beat host Panthrakikos 3-0, Xanthi drew 1-1 at Veria, and Asteras and Panathinaikos played to a scoreless draw.
