AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Jordan Spieth takes a one-shot lead over 24-year-old Smylie Kauffman into Sunday's final round at the 80th Masters. Spieth is trying to become the fourth golfer to repeat as Masters champ and the first since Tiger Woods in 2001 and 2002.
FORT WORTH, Texas (AP)— Kyle Busch passed Martin Truex Jr. with 32 laps left to win his second straight NASCAR Sprint Cup event, the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Truex had led for 142 laps but couldn't hold Busch off on a restart.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)— The Golden State Warriors nipped Memphis 100-99 to improve to 71-9. Draymond Green scored on a tip-in in with 1 minute left and finished with 23 points and 11 boards. The Warriors face 65-14 San Antonio Sunday night and they need to sweep their remaining two games to beat the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls all-time regular season record of 72-10.
CHICAGO (AP)— The Cleveland Cavaliers still have not clinched home-court advantage through the Eastern Conference championship. The Chicago Bulls stayed alive for the playoffs by beating the Cavs 105-102 behind Jimmy Butler's 21.
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Madison Bumgarner hit another home run off Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw, but both aces were done by the time Charlie Culberson hit a go-ahead double in the 10th inning to lift Los Angeles over the San Francisco Giants 3-2 in their second straight extra-inning game in the rain. Bumgarner struck out eight in his six innings and Kershaw had five Ks in his eight innings.
