NEW YORK (AP) — Blithely rallied to beat Eloquent Tribute by 1 1/4 lengths Thursday in the $75,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares in the mud at Aqueduct.
The gray 5-year-old trained by Mark Hennig has six victories in 14 starts.
Junior Alvarado was aboard for the six furlongs in 1:11.15. Blithely paid $5.90, $2.80 and $2.40.
Eloquent Tribute returned $2.90 and $2.50, and Non Finisce Mai paid $3.70 to show.
